Nicolas
Nicolas is the organizational talent at Tune. Besides his work in supply chain management, he also has a strong appreciation for good beer — his time in Belgium may have had something to do with that. Outside of work, Nicolas is often thinking about the next bike-related project: gravel, lightweight builds, custom steel frames — there is always something to consider. In the meantime, he enjoys riding across different disciplines, from road to enduro.
Marzena
You can’t tell the story of Tune without Marzena, and her own story is closely connected to Tune as well. She was one of the first employees of the then-small company in the early 1990s and is still part of the team today. Her experience, especially when it comes to wheels and spoke tension, is hard to match. Over the years, she has seen and worked on just about everything, from mountain bikes to road bikes and beyond. If you own a Tune wheel, there is a good chance it has passed through Marzena’s hands.
Alexandre
When it comes to quality assurance, Alexandre plays a key role at Tune. Every day, he checks surface finishes, anodizing quality and tolerances to help ensure that Tune components meet high standards. He also works in production, where he manufactures hub shells on CNC machines. His hands-on production knowledge gives him a strong understanding of the details that matter, both during manufacturing and final quality control. Outside of work, he enjoys a more dynamic pace, whether through baseball or cycling.
Markus
Markus is another long-standing member of the Tune team. With many years of experience, he has built up an impressive amount of knowledge about Tune products and their history. Questions about older components, technical details or service cases often lead to Markus. As part of the internal service team, he handles orders and service requests quickly, efficiently and with plenty of expertise.
Julian
Julian takes care of marketing at Tune and helps bring the brand’s stories, products and ideas to the outside world. When he is not working on content for social media, he supports international customers in the sales department. On the bike, Julian feels most at home on the road and on gravel. He prefers fast descents on asphalt to technical trails full of roots and rocks.
Carsten
Carsten is the CEO of Tune, a passionate endurance athlete and a big fan of bikepacking. His approach to adventure is clear: explore as much as possible, but preferably with a proper bed waiting at the end of the day. Camping gear usually stays at home. He has already completed several tours and has also accompanied Jonas Deichmann on swimming and cycling adventures. With his experience, motivation and sporting background, Carsten shows that passion for sport and adventure has no age limit.
Luc
“Luc, can you take a quick look at my bike?” is a sentence heard regularly at Tune. And for good reason: when he is not handling service cases or contributing to new product development at Tune, Luc also works as a professional mechanic for AS Bike Racing. On top of that, he is a frame builder and trained engineer. Mechanic, engineer, frame builder — Luc is a true all-rounder when it comes to bikes.
Lucas
Lucas is Tune’s technical director and brings a lot of dedication to his role. He lives and breathes Tune, which becomes clear as soon as you talk to him. Focused on developing high-quality components, Lucas is a perfectionist who pays close attention to every detail. His cycling interests are broad: mountain bike, road, gravel and custom builds all have a place in his world.
Wooky
“Woof, woof, wooooooof, woof, grrr, grrrrrrr.”
Wooky is our furry part-time team member. He spends a lot of time with Lucas. At Tune, his main responsibilities are keeping the team motivated, creating a good atmosphere and making sure lunch leftovers do not go to waste.
Denis
Denis is one of Tune’s versatile team members, with a particular passion for wheel building. If you are riding a Tune wheel, there is a good chance Denis was involved in building it. Outside of work, he is highly active and enjoys different sports, from cycling to football. He also spends time with his dogs and likes working on vintage cars.
Victor
Victor is a former MTB junior pro and World Cup winner. Since childhood, he has explored different cycling disciplines, but mountain biking remains his greatest passion. In his free time, you will often find him on the bike, especially on the trails of the Vosges, where he enjoys the region’s distinctive black soil. After a ride, a pizza is always a welcome bonus. Victor also works as a mechanic for a cyclocross team, keeping him closely connected to professional cycling. As an engineer at Tune, he brings this sporting background and technical mindset into future product projects.
Arthur
Arthur is our curious all-rounder, always looking for new challenges and ideas. As a Product Manager, he enjoys testing new prototypes and giving detailed feedback, especially in his favorite discipline: enduro. But his passion for cycling doesn’t stop there: he also enjoys spending time on the road bike, whether for training, long rides or simply chasing the next good route. Cycling is a big part of Arthur’s life, both at work and outside of it.
Christian
Christian is our CEO... well, when he actually has the time. To be honest, it’s more like a part-time gig for him because his schedule is absolutely packed: he’s a former pro cyclist married to a pro cyclist, a commentator on Eurosport, a director at Carbovation and Lightweight, the main organizer of a cycling team, and a composite materials specialist... Long story short, the man does a lot. Oh, and on top of all that, he’s seriously fast on a bike, which suggests he still manages to ride quite a bit (don't ask us where he finds the hours), but he doesn’t have Strava—and as the saying goes, if it's not on Strava, it didn't happen.
Katja
Katja is the one who sends you your Tune products, making her responsible for spreading the passion we put into our components all over the world. On top of that, she’s a yoga teacher who brings a much-needed zen vibe to the office. So, take a deep breath and relax—we’ve got the rest covered. Namaste!
Friedhelm
Friedhelm—or Fritty—is the absolute master of machining. When he’s not out on his bike exploring the Black Forest or taking care of his son, Friedhelm is right in front of the machine, plugging in lines of G-code that look more baffling than the last. Thanks to this language that only he seems to speak, he crafts our Tune hubs, turning kilograms of aluminum into grams of pure perfection.
