Nano CS – The Lightweight Hub Set for Carbon Spokes
Aha, it looks like someone is searching for something seriously light, precise and a little bit special. You are in the right place! Nano CS is our hub set designed specifically for carbon spokes. It combines the low weight of our Nano platform with a patented hubshell solution that allows carbon spokes to run perfectly straight.
Why does that matter? Unlike classic steel spokes, carbon spokes can hardly bend. That means the spoke hole in the hubshell has to be aligned extremely precisely with the rim hole, so the spoke can run straight and without unwanted stress.
In theory, every rim geometry would require its own dedicated hubshell. In practice, however, many manufacturers use compromises, which can result in carbon spokes not running 100% straight. Our patented solution uses a ball-milled spoke hole, allowing the spoke to align itself perfectly towards the rim. The result: a straight spoke line, reduced stress and a more precise connection between hub, spoke and rim.
And the best part? Nano CS remains highly versatile. It is compatible with almost all common rims. 20-inch and 24-inch rims are not covered, and in the road sector, rims from around 65mm height can be problematic depending on the offset. Towards larger wheel sizes, there is no fixed limit — Nano CS is, for example, also compatible with 32-inch rims.
